With more than 400 members worldwide, the EnOcean Alliance is one of the most successful alliances in the field of smart building monitoring and control. Spearhead the ride
The majority of the world has set itself ambitious climate targets, for example reducing CO2 emissions by over 50% in the next few years compared to 1990 or by 2040 in a CO2-neutral manner. To make this possible, it is imperative to measure energy consumption in buildings, which account for 40% of our energy consumption. The ongoing COVID pandemic has also raised awareness of the health and wellbeing of employees, which includes monitoring and controlling air quality, illuminance, temperature and occupancy. “At a time when battery-free WiFi is the obvious choice – also due to environmental problems and the cost of replacing copper cables or batteries – the EnOcean Alliance is pioneering the way to a more energy-efficient, healthier and safer world,” says Graham Martin, CEO and Chairman of the EnOcean Alliance.
