So very first thing that you can examine is the run-off tubes. Should you discover that the air conditioner drain pipe is what’s causing it, you will need to purchase new air conditioner run off tubes at a hardware store or air conditioning supply store, and then change it. Remember to follow the guidelines on the pipe glue.

If when evaluating the water pump it doesn’t start it is either broken or stuck. You will have to detach the pump motor from the electricity and from the tube, take away the top of the pump motor and wash it out if the power pump is stuck. If it’s quite old or busted, you’re probably better off replacing it so you don’t have to do this again in the not too distant future.

If you find that the pump motor is running but no water is draining the suction blocker is probably stuck, it really is located right before the discharge pipe. Unscrew the check valve, loosen the ball inside, and search for a blockage. If it appears that a condensation run off pipe is clogged with blue green slime, remove it if possible (you may need to cut it and replace it later with a coupling). I like to recommend replacing the line, but you can blow it out or run a wire through it to clean it out. If you aren’t going to replace the tube you have got to get rid of blue-green algae, combine a bleach solution and run in through the entire power pump.

If the extraction pipe and the water pump are operating, perhaps you may have ice developing and blocking the line. In most cases you can fix this problem quite simply by buying new air conditioning filters.
